Welcome to Bedawi Collective, a merchandising company founded by Mahmood Alfayoumi and Huzaifah Shamim. Our mission is to showcase the beauty of Middle Eastern and Islamic cultures through our unique clothing designs.We first found success with our original Palestine hoodie, and have since expanded our offerings to include a variety of designs that incorporate beautiful Arabic calligraphy. Our goal is to create apparel that not only looks great, but also serves as a way to highlight important issues such as genocide in Palestine and China.We believe that fashion is a powerful tool for self-expression, and we strive to create designs that are both meaningful and stylish. At Bedawi Collective, our company name holds a special significance to us. The word "Bedawi" is an Arabic term meaning "traveler" or "bedouin". This word was chosen as the foundation of our brand because it embodies the spirit of exploration, discovery, and connection that we strive to convey through our clothing designs. Bedouins have a rich history of traveling and exploring the desert, and their nomadic lifestyle is a symbol of freedom and resilience. By choosing the name Bedawi, we aim to honor their legacy and inspire our customers to embrace their own sense of wanderlust and curiosity.
Furthermore, the word "Bedawi" reflects our commitment to promoting the beauty of Middle Eastern and Islamic cultures. Bedouins are an integral part of the cultural fabric of the Middle East and have a deep connection to the land and its people.
